Chasing White Rabbits

While I’m glad “Adversity” is crossed off the list, it’s really the second item that I’m concerned with. As someone from the “The Southwest” I wonder how much of a Culture Shock these guys are going to get.

Ricky and I planned this trip pretty meticulously. This photo is from a dinner we had at The Lion in New York City, probably back in early November. Pretty swanky restaurant to be walking in with maps and guide books but I think we wore the confidence on our faces well. We meant business. I don’t think anybody’s ever used the paper table covering as a cartographer’s tool, but we’re free thinkers like that.

We originally were going to rent an RV, but couldn’t find a great one available this week and also realized that one of us would have to drive it. And nobody wants be the one behind the wheel, missing out on a game of Balderdash going on in the back. So we rented a tour bus with an experienced tour bus driver, and Tour Loko was born. You can see our checklist of goals in the above photo. We already checked “adversity” off the list escaping the east coast an hour before the blizzard hit.
